The unique music of the children's relaxation album is slow paced, rhythmically flowing, as per the standard relaxation album, but it has added characterisation and sounds to add visualisation and creativity. Each song is written to a theme to help feed the child's imagination. The music can be a great help to any parent and can also be a useful tool for child minders, day-care and nurseries.

Sleep
We know how important it is for a child to feel calm and safe in order for them to be relaxed and sleep soundly. These soft melodies, which have magical and playful sounds sprinkled throughout, can help achieve a good nights sleep for your child or baby. The music is soft and soothing to gradually calm and quieten the child's minds into a relaxed state ready for sleep.
Quiet Time
Individual songs or the whole album can be used as a tool to promote "quiet time". You can set the timing of this based on the length of the songs and once children can speak (or at least find a way of making themselves understood), you could allow them to choose the songs they'd most like to hear, based on the theme.
There are a couple of extra techniques available as an option with the album. These are
Positive Affirmations and Subliminal Affirmations.
which can bring extra comfort and send your child positive messages of love and encouragement.

Positive Affirmations
Where we have used Positive Affirmations in the children's relaxation albums, we have focused on statements promoting calm, security, self-esteem and the notion of being un-limited.
All albums bought with positive affirmations, audible or subliminal, will receive an affirmation list PDF. With the children's ones you will also receive a colourful illustrated PDF with a page per song.
Each of these will be illustrated based on the theme and can be used to to promote further immersion in the positive messages. Reading the statements as part of quiet/bed times can be fun and useful to help the positive messages sink in, as well as for a child's reading skills.
Example positive affirmations:
I am safe, I am secure, I am warm, I am comfortable, I am loved, I am wanted, I am nurtured, I dream of good things, Good things come to me, When I grow up I can be anything I want to be........
